Could it be time to learn Spanish?

Understory continues to offer Spanish Classes this fall, Sept - Dec. in Minneapolis.

Beginner and Intermediate classes are offered, with a focus on practical Spanish for doing things in a sustainable world: building, growing food, cooking, interacting with neighbors, and more.

Classes will be divided between core grammar/capacity building, and expanding vocabulary. Fun will be had.

May Day, the Spring festival and ritual of blooming after a long Minnesota winter, was marked in Minneapolis on May 4. Understory is proud to have contributed, with director Reed Aubin as staff artist at In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, creators of the parade and ceremony. Not a Kernel to Eat is the story of Paco, a Mexican farmer, as he loves and loses his corn. Through battles with herbicide, water use, and temptations to buy a new HDTV with windfall GMO corn profits, our hero seeks for redemption and seeds he can trust.
