Not a Kernel to Eat is the story of Paco, a Mexican farmer, as he loves and loses his corn. Through battles with herbicide, water use, and temptations to buy a new HDTV with windfall GMO corn profits, our hero searches for redemption and seeds he can trust.

The performance consists of a 20-minute show, generally followed by another 10-40 minutes of conversation. Often audience members have relevant and moving personal experience and we seek to facilitate connection among attendees, positive action, and intergenerational dialogue. We can adapt our approach to the characteristics of each particular audience.
