Director and Principal

Reed Ellis Aubin directs Understory from onshore headquarters in Minneapolis, MN. Permaculturist, linguist, educator and performer, Reed completed his Permaculture Design Certificate in 2004 at Project Bona Fide, Nicaragua, and holds his B.A. with honors in Anthropology and Linguistics from Brown University.  His theatre credentials include a certificate in Playwriting from Brown and mentored study at In the Heart of the Beast Theatre. He is the author of the Field Glossary and several plays about resource extraction, ecology, and the human condition.
